In Anora, Madison received widespread praise for her performance as Ani, a Brooklyn dancer who becomes embroiled in a whirlwind romance with the son of a Russian oligarch. During her acceptance speech at last year’s ceremony, Madison reflected on the sex worker community that informed her about the role. “The women I had the privilege of meeting from that community were one of the highlights of this whole amazing experience,” she said. “I also want to once again recognize and honor the sex worker community, which I will continue to support and be an ally of.”
As Madison’s profile has grown, she’s also forged connections with the fashion world. She attended Dior’s Spring/Summer 2026 collection in Paris last year and spoke to ELLE UK about her appreciation for the craftsmanship that goes into the clothes. “Clothing is a very personal form of expression,” she said. “We are always grateful to those who imagine and create the pieces we use to tell our individual stories.”
