Michael Urie is crazy about his Shrinking co-star Harrison Ford.
When asked about what it’s like to work with such an iconic figure in film, the 45-year-old actor told PEOPLE on the opening night of “Chess” on Broadway on Sunday, Nov. 16. “He’s silly and fun to work with.”
She added, “He loves being there[on set]and he really loves being on set. I know he looks grumpy on the red carpet,[but]that’s just acting. He’s actually very sweet and he loves being on set.”
While on the set of the drama, the Emmy nominee, who plays Brian on the show, says he saw firsthand how much Ford, 83, truly cares about his craft. “He’s a really careful actor, and he really thinks about his work,” Urie says. “He really cares about the scenes and treats every scene like its own thing.”

Teasing the upcoming third season of Shrinking, Urey said the new episodes will be a showcase for Ford, who plays Dr. Paul Rose, a compassionate therapist battling Parkinson’s disease. “I’m talking about Harrison. I know he had a great second season, but I think he’s really moving forward in the third season,” the actor says.
“He’s been great…he’s been really great this season,” Urie continued. “It’s going to be a really beautiful, beautiful arc for our Mr. Ford.”
