Michael Urie is crazy about his Shrinking co-star Harrison Ford.

Teasing the upcoming third season of Shrinking, Urey said the new episodes will be a showcase for Ford, who plays Dr. Paul Rose, a compassionate therapist battling Parkinson’s disease. “I’m talking about Harrison. I know he had a great second season, but I think he’s really moving forward in the third season,” the actor says.

“He’s been great…he’s been really great this season,” Urie continued. “It’s going to be a really beautiful, beautiful arc for our Mr. Ford.”

Apple TV announced on October 21 that the hit comedy will return for Season 3 in January 2026. In addition to Urey and Ford, the series also stars Jason Segel, Jessica Williams, Wendi Malick, Luke Tenney, Lukita Maxwell, and Christa Miller. “I read the script for Michael J. Fox’s character and I was like, ‘Wait a minute,’ and I knew it was for him,” Urey says.

He continued, “I remember the first time[he]came on set…the scene with Harrison Ford and Michael J. Fox was so beautiful that[the crew]were all completely swollen and crying and blushing. Of course, it was beautiful.”

Season 3 of Shrinking will premiere on Apple TV on January 28, 2026, with news episodes airing every Wednesday until the final episode on April 8. Seasons 1 and 2 of Shrinking are currently streaming.
