Mia Goth is going all out when it comes to her outfits to promote her latest film, Frankenstein.
Attending a screening of the Netflix release in New York, Goss opted for a sheer black dress designed by Ferragamo.
The sleeveless look featured a mid-length shift shape with black shearling around the waist and a translucent lace band around the chest. These strategically placed fabric embellishments were a clever way to add texture and drama while keeping your wardrobe from creating any unwanted malfunctions.
Goss partnered with Tiffany & Co. on an ad for her jewelry, and the design company hosted a movie afterparty at its newly renovated flagship store, The Landmark.
The actress’ monochrome outfit contrasted with bright diamonds set in a Reeves necklace, multiplication earrings, and a large diamond Ailsa ring designed by Jean Schlumberger for Tiffany.
Goth’s dark wardrobe choices mirror her appearance at the film’s Los Angeles premiere earlier this month, where she wore a Christian Dior minidress made of sheer black lace, with briefs visible underneath.
And while promoting the film in London a week ago, she opted for a purple dress that was completely sheer in keeping with her themed wardrobe choices.
The 31-year-old is leaning into the gothic nature of the film and tries to incorporate a bit of her character into every promotional event and red carpet.
She joins A-list women like Margot Robbie, Demi Moore and Jenna Ortega in embracing the method dressing trend on press tours. Of course, if you’re a Hollywood star, it helps because you can choose a character that’s equally stylish on and off screen.
