MGK revealed the “torture” he experienced due to his big blackout tattoo.
The “Bad Thinds” hitmaker – whose real name is Colson Baker – detailed his painful experience during his appearance on Thursday on The Jennifer Hudson Show, sharing that his goal is to “redesign” his body.
“Through my research, I realized that this was from someone with very high anxiety,” the musician said. “But in my head I’m really interested in redesigning anatomy.”
“You know that skin is the biggest organ we have,” he continued. “I’ve already had all the tattoos since I was 13. My whole body has been covered for a long time. I came up with this because I wanted to redesign what human skin looks like, but a friend named Rocks came up with it.”
When Hudson asked if it hurt, the 35-year-old MGK said it was “the worst torture I’ve ever had.”
“Yeah, I don’t.
“It’s a big mistake, but my morality stands,” he added.
The large blacked out pieces cover most of the artist’s half, lowering their arms and down their stomachs across their chests.
As the artwork was already covered from head to toe, some of his original tattoos are still showing through his darkened skin. One of them is a work designed by his current 16-year-old daughter, Casie.
“She got a bit of a tattoo on me, so I was there to protect it,” he said of his eldest son and his older daughter, whom he shares with his ex Emma Cannon. He was also welcomed alongside Megan Fox, the father of his five-month-old daughter, Saga Blade and ex-girlfriend.
The “Emo Girl” artist debuted his new inked body in a shocking Instagram post in February.
He later told his fans “Let Let Me Go” with his song.
“Lately, my thoughts are like I’m alive/lying in bed. Perhaps my hatred might finally disappear if I’m not alive.”
“I wish they hadn’t heard the same way they wanted to understand me once /I broke down and I’d tatted my whole body except for one line / Everything is going well.”
