MEGHAN Trainor showed off a glimpse of her flat stomach in an impressive gym selfie she shared on Instagram on Wednesday.
The 31-year-old singer reposted the photo with the caption, “Progress. Power. Peace.” — From her trainer Vera Maher’s account.
In the photo, the Grammy winner lifted her black top to show off her abs.
The trainers paired it with a long-sleeve shirt and matching leggings, and completed the look with white tennis shoes and socks.
The social media upload came four days after Maher made a lengthy plea for clients to “transform from the inside out.”
She shared before-and-after photos on the trainer on Saturday, writing, “She was doing all this on her own before she started GLP-1. And even after starting it, the medication was just a support, not the reason for her results. GLP-1 can be a powerful tool, but it’s by no means a transformational plan.”
“She’s the reason this worked,” Maher continued over the weekend. “She prioritized strength training, protein, intention, structure, and being active even on days when she didn’t feel like it. She built this. She earned this.”
Maher concluded: “And now she can live with a body that will support her for the rest of her life. I’m so proud of you, my daughter!!”
Trainor admitted in April that he was using semaglutide to lose weight and spoke about his “journey to becoming the healthiest, strongest version” of himself.
“I worked with a nutritionist, made some big lifestyle changes, started working out with a trainer, and yes, I used science and support (shout out to Munjaro!) to help me after my second pregnancy,” she wrote at the time. “And I felt really good, so I’m really happy.”
This update, notably, came on the heels of the pop star undergoing a breast lift and implants.
“I’ve been touring, working, and being a mom so hard that I recently decided to do something just for me,” she explained in March.
Notably, the songwriter, who shares sons Riley, 4, and son Barry, 2, with husband Daryl Sabara, and the 33-year-old Spy Kids star also takes weight loss pills.
The actor, who married Trainor in December 2018, revealed his use of Munjaro on an episode of his podcast Workin’ On It, quipping: “We do everything together.”
