Meghan Trainor insists she isn’t.
The pop star took to TikTok on Monday to quash any remaining speculation that she was referring to Ashley Tisdale when she released an essay about breaking up with a “toxic” mom group.
“I’m still trying to convince everyone that I’m not part of the mom group drama,” Traynor, 32, wrote over a video of her saying the words, “Come on, you have to believe in me! Please, you have to believe in me! No, you have to believe.”
She captioned the clip, “I swear I’m innocent 🙏.”
This is the second time the singer-songwriter has addressed the situation through TikTok, first using the platform to upload a video of herself typing on her computer.
Above the video, which was set to his song “Still Don’t Care,” were written the words, “I’m clearly aware of the mom group drama.”
Her husband Daryl Sabara (with whom she shares sons Riley, 4, and Barry, 2) echoed this sentiment, telling paparazzi: “There was no drama here.”
“I’m just trying to make my kids happy, right?” Sabara, 33, said of Tisdale: “I really don’t know what’s going on. But I hope she’s okay.”
Earlier this month, the “High School Musical” star, 40, wrote an article for The Cut in which she said she was excluded from mom group hangouts and felt “not cool enough,” which ultimately led her to walk away from the group.
Although Tisdale’s publicist claimed her client was referring to a different mom group, it didn’t take long to discover that the mom group in question included Trainor, Hilary Duff, and Mandy Moore..
Notably, Tisdale doesn’t follow Duff (whose husband Matthew Koma faced backlash for a questionable post mocking the “Suite Life of Zack and Cody” star) or Moore on Instagram.
However, she and Trainor still follow each other.
