Duchess Meghan shared a historic video honoring Prince Harry on Veterans Day.
In the thirst trap video that went viral in 2013, Prince Harry was abruptly interrupted during an interview due to an apparent emergency in Afghanistan.
Harry, then 28, immediately took off his microphone and ran with other troops and military personnel on an emergency mission.
The Duchess of Sussex also posted a photo of Prince Harry visiting with an elderly military veteran.
“As my husband says, ‘Once provided, always provided,'” Markle captioned Tuesday’s video.
“Thank you to everyone who has served, sacrificed and continues to serve. We salute you on Veterans Day. And every day.”
Prince Harry famously served two tours of duty in Afghanistan during his 10-year military career in the British Army.
His first tour as a forward air traffic controller in 2007-2008 was interrupted by media leaks. His second tour began in Afghanistan’s Helmand province in 2012 and ended in 2013.
The Duke of Sussex served as an Apache attack helicopter pilot.
Markle often gushes about the Duke of Sussex in her social media posts, and in September she shared a throwback photo of the prince in a military pilot’s uniform to mark his 41st birthday. “Hello birthday boy 🔥,” she captioned the post.
In June, the “With Love, Meghan” host, 44, paid tribute to Prince Harry on Father’s Day, writing that he was the “best” father to Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet and his “favorite person.”
Markle, who was spotted holding hands with Prince Harry at Kris Jenner’s 70th birthday party over the weekend, also shared a sweet PDA photo on Valentine’s Day.
“Going home to take care of our baby and miss Valentine’s Day. He continues to compete in the Invictus Games, change lives through amazing veterans and their families, and remind us all of healing and resilience,” she captioned a black-and-white kissing photo, adding, “I couldn’t be more proud of my husband and what he has created.”
“My love, I’ll be eating burgers, fries, and fish and chips with you forever,” Markle concluded her post. “Thank you. #lovewins”
However, a source told Page Six earlier this month that Prince Harry was not thrilled with his wife’s social media shares. They include a recent Instagram video of Archie, 6, and Lilibet, 4, in a pumpkin patch, as well as a photo of Prince Harry, Duchess Meghan and Magic Johnson watching Game 4 of the World Series at Dodger Stadium.
“He’s well aware that she’s parading him around,” a source told Us. “He doesn’t like what he sees on social media.”
