Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have partnered with Our Big Kitchen Los Angeles through the Archewell Foundation. I brought my kids Archie and Lilibet to the Thanksgiving event. The family prepared meals that were distributed over the holiday weekend.
On Wednesday, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry attended a special Thanksgiving event at Our Big Kitchen in Los Angeles with their children Archie, 6, and Lilibet, 4. The couple partnered with OBKLA that day through their nonprofit organization, the Archewell Foundation.
The two organizations will prepare meals for the weekend and “deliver them to local schools, shelters, senior centers and other community organizations serving neighbors in need,” according to a press release.
The Duchess of Sussex shared photos on her Instagram Story of herself cooking with Prince Harry, as well as shots of her children wearing black baseball caps to hide their faces. Lili can be seen holding her mother’s hand, wearing a red and green plaid dress with a black ribbon at the waist, and her red hair braided down her back.

Meghan wore a gray sleeveless top, a black Archewell Foundation apron, and a white baseball cap. Harry wore a blue three-quarter zip cardigan over a gray shirt. Meghan wrote a simple message above every photo: “Show up and do good,” along with a link to the foundation’s website.
Last week, a newsletter for her brand As Ever featured the Duchess preparing for Thanksgiving with her children at her home in Montecito, California.
“Sage’s delicate, grassy flavor ranks high on the list when it comes to our founder’s favorites,” the newsletter said, according to People magazine. “Why? Well, the photo we saw on our Instagram this year of Meghan walking through a gorgeous purple lavender-like patch actually resembles a blooming sage beauty (fun fact: this variety is called Santa Barbara).”
The newsletter continues, “Archie and Lili in tow for a walk, her husband checking on the bees and Pula trying to keep up with Mia chasing a ball. It was a moment of sunshine that made our daily walks a little more magical. And that sage, that purple color, the scent of the garden was always in the background.”
