Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan kicked off their Valentine’s Day weekend with a romantic dinner date in Beverly Hills.
Photos obtained by People show the Duke and Duchess of Sussex heading out to Funke on Friday night, with Markle wearing a brown down coat and black pants, and Prince Harry opting for a black jacket and jeans.
The mother-of-two wore her hair in a stylish updo for the outing and beamed as her husband left a fancy restaurant.
The couple was also seen leaving the restaurant after dinner and getting into a large car.
Funke is a favorite of the couple, who previously dined there for the “With Love, Meghan” host’s 44th birthday in August.
On Saturday, the Duchess of Sussex took to Instagram to share a sweet and rare snapshot of her husband cradling their daughter Princess Lilibet, 4, clutching a bouquet of red balloons.
“These two + Archie = my forever Valentine ♥️,” she exclaimed in the caption.
Prince Harry smiled lovingly at his daughter, who was wearing a pink ballet uniform, in a sunset photo.
On Valentine’s Day last year, the As Ever lifestyle brand founder shared a photo of herself locking lips with Harry. The pair spent their holidays apart while Harry attended the Invictus Games.
“I miss being home taking care of my baby and seeing Valentine continue to compete in the Invictus Games,” she wrote alongside a black-and-white snapshot.
“I am more than proud of my husband and what he has produced,” she continued in part. “My love, I will eat burgers and fries and fish and chips with you forever. Thank you. #lovewins As always, M.”
The couple famously married in a lavish royal ceremony in the UK in May 2018, and welcomed 6-year-old Prince Archie a year later.
After retiring from their duties as working members of the royal family in 2020, the couple relocated to Montecito, California, where they welcomed Princess Lilibet in June 2021.
Markle flaunted her love again in January in a PDA video that featured the 2016 viral trend, but royal author Christopher Andersen told Us Weekly last month that Prince Harry is “somewhat apprehensive” about living on the West Coast with the Suits alum.
“He has suffered from severe social anxiety,” Anderson told the outlet, but “Meghan has embraced that lifestyle more.”
However, another source in the same media claimed that Prince Harry has found peace away from the British tabloid media.
“Harry is very happy in his private life,” a source told Us Weekly. “Despite his upbringing (as a royal), he was never comfortable in that environment. He feels more like himself here.”
