Meghan King’s ex-husband, Jim Edmonds, celebrated his first Thanksgiving since King won temporary full custody, sharing a sweet family photo with their three children.
The former baseball pro, 55, took to his Instagram Stories on Friday to share a photo of his daughter Aspen, 9, and twin sons Hart and Hayes, 7, all smiling for the holidays.
The family dressed up in country-western themed costumes for the shoot.
Aspen was photographed wearing a long-sleeved denim dress and white cowgirl boots, and both boys were wearing brown cowboy boots, pants, and brown tops. One of the twins rocked a cowboy hat as his father pulled him in for a hug.
“Lots of love,” he captioned the photo, tagging his wife Courtney Edmonds.
Earlier this week, a source exclusively told Page Six that the ex-couple’s three children will be spending the holidays with their father and his wife at their home in Tennessee.
At the time, it remained unclear how King, 41, who lives in Missouri, would spend his Thanksgiving holiday.
This update comes shortly after it was reported that the former “Real Housewives of Orange County” star temporarily lost custody of her children to Edmonds.
However, we have been told that Dr. King is entitled to supervised visitation with his children on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
King lost full custody of her children after staff at the children’s school filed a report about her with Child Protective Services (CPS), which launched an investigation.
A source previously said King had a history of giving Ritalin, a prescription drug, to Hayes even though King had not been diagnosed with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
Officials went on to say King also allegedly asked a nurse at Hayes’ school to administer medication that was not prescribed to her.
A hearing will reportedly be held in December to make further decisions regarding custody.
