Meghan King reportedly broke down by police who confronted her earlier this year who allegedly plunged into her ex-husband Jim Edmonds’ home without permission.
The “Real Housewife of Orange County” alumni told officers she was “incredibly emotionally abusive” she walked into her car and got weekly for each Bodycam footage.
On May 1st, Jim’s third wife, Colny Edmonds, called the police to complain that the king had trespassed.
The real estate agent claimed in Report 6 that he had previously obtained the reality star had arranged to take down his stepdaughter’s dress. (Jim and King share Aspen, 8, and Hayes with twins.
However, he reported, “Meghan refused to hand over Colny to the dress and asked him to ‘ret off and talk’ (her daughter).’
When Colny tells 40-year-old King that Jim and Aspen are at a baseball game rather than at home, the former Bravo star is allegedly screaming for her daughter from inside the house, a few feet away from the doorway.
King eventually began leaving the property in her jeep, but was later confronted by Frontnack police.
Colney complained to officers that the podcaster had “goed to the residence several times throughout the day and was on the scene that is currently causing the disorder.”
According to bodycam footage, the officer told King, “If it doesn’t stop, I’ll put you in the cufflinks.” Then he repeated.
King reportedly told police in her defense that Jim, 55, was using his name and money to “push (she) away” and denied any fraudulent behavior.
Coltney wanted to “report the harassment charges,” but Frontnack City Prosecutors reportedly “refused” to pursue the charges against the King, calling the case a domestic dispute.
Meanwhile, King’s officials say the entire incident is “mischaracterized.”
“Meghan was trying to take down her daughter’s dress with Jim Edmonds’ request and adjustments to her child’s needs,” the spokesman told Weekly earlier this month.
“Meghan made a temporary call to her daughter through the doorway, never stepped inside, slamming the door into the face and quietly leaving her belongings on the porch. Upon leaving, she was unexpectedly blocked by multiple police vehicles, feeling unnecessarily hostile.”
The official also pointed out how King had to suppress orders against Jim in the past due to alleged abusive behavior.
“It should also be noted that Meghan has been primarily responsible for her child for a while and that involvement on the other side is limited to handpicked opportunities,” the spokesman added.
King’s officials concluded that the three moms are one of many women who “facing confusion and truth” especially when the financial resources create the personal dynamics of an already uneven arena.
Jim was married to King from 2014 to 2021, but broke up in 2019 following a fraud scandal.
The former professional athlete representative speaks to Page 6 in response to King’s claims to police. “As usual, Meghan tells the story. She and Jim rarely communicate.
The spokesman also denied the TV star’s allegations against police officers, and denied the TV star’s claim that she was quickly gaining full custody of the child, saying, “Jim is the active and current father of all his children. The unfortunate part of this is that the children suffer the most.”
“Jim was always willing to work together in a respectful and productive way, but Meghan hasn’t made a trip back and forth,” the official concluded. “The gym has a long history of consistently making decisions and acting in the best way for children.”
