Meghan King sent a special birthday cheer to her daughter Aspen in honor of her ninth birthday after the former Bravo star lost custody of the child to ex Jim Edmonds.
“My favorite woman to ever walk this earth,” King wrote on her Instagram Story on Monday. “My brightest light, my greatest joy.”
The Real Housewives of Orange County alum added, “Nine years ago today, a wonderful gift from God was born. That’s when I learned what love is. I love you Aspen King Edmonds. I love you infinitely. Happy Birthday.”
King’s birthday tribute comes a day after he shared a cryptic post on Instagram in which he supported “human rights” amid his custody battle with Edmonds.
“Big fan of human rights,” she wrote in an image she shared on Sunday, tagging the location as Kirkwood, Michigan.
Last week, Page Six reported that the former reality star, 41, temporarily lost custody of her three children – daughter Aspen and twin sons Hart, 7, and Hayes, 7 – to her second ex-husband, Edmonds.
A source told Page Six that King is allowed two supervised meetings a week with Hayes, Hart and Aspen.
The investigation began after King allegedly gave unprescribed medication to one of the twins and asked the school nurse to do the same.
A source exclusively told Page Six that Dr. King allegedly gave Hayes Ritalin to his son multiple times, even though he has not been diagnosed with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
Child Protective Services (CPS) became involved after the mother of three asked the school nurse to also administer medication.
Jim and his wife, Courtney Edmonds, 55, of Tennessee, said they flew to Missouri as soon as they got the call from CPS.
It has also been reported that a temporary restraining order has been granted and a more permanent solution will be determined at a court hearing scheduled for December 9th.
King and the former MLB player married in October 2014.
Five years later, the former Bravolebrity filed for divorce from Jim following a cheating scandal.
Their divorce was finalized in May 2021.
