Tyler Perry’s Netflix series Beauty in Black is back for season 2. There is no doubt that there is a lot of drama in the characters in the show.
But when it comes to many of the real romantic lives of the cast members, the situation cannot be any more different. The Netflix series is full of toxic relationships, but many of the show’s cast members are in long-term partnerships.
The leading woman, Taylor Polidore Williams, married her husband in early 2024, and then wrote Instagram at the time, “Thank you to my husband. I really wanted to say my husband because I already know how grateful I am.
Like Williams, other cast members have recently tied the knot, including Xavier Smalls and his wife, Vanessa Martinez.

Taylor Polidore Williams and Jero Williams

Williams, who plays Kimmy, married her husband, Jero Williams on May 4, 2022.
“The best day of my life! Thank you to my husband,” the actress wrote on Instagram along with photos of the couple’s wedding at a museum in Houston.
Jello attended Morehouse College and is currently a surgical resident.

Stewart, who plays Mallory, married Belgian-born model Max Sebrechtz in August 2014. They share two children, daughter Anne Jolie and son Max Jr.
“The Little Munchkin will change your life. These are good moments that I get closer to my heart and cherish for a long time,” Sebrehits captioned a September 2023 Instagram post on Children’s. “They may even make a bad day better.”
Stewart and Sebrechts have not shared the news of their breakup, but have not posted about each other since 2023 and have no longer followed each other. Sebrechts has also started posting photos with another woman.
Xavier Smalls and Vanessa Martinez

Xavier Smalls, who plays Angel, proposed to makeup artist Vanessa Martinez in August 2023.
“I love you forever. I can’t wait to see what God has for our relationships and future family,” he wrote on Instagram after popping the question.
The couple married in Mexico on December 7, 2024, according to Instagram. Smalls and Martinez have already raised one child and announced in June 2025 that they are looking for another child. That month, she debuted a baby bump on the red carpet with her husband at the BET Awards.
Stephen G. Norfleet and Anthony Hemingway

Steven G. Norfleet and Anthony Hemingway, who portrayed Charles, tied the knot in September 2019 after getting engaged the previous year. According to The New York Times, actress Aisha Hinds hosted her fiancé at the Newhall Mansion in Pill, California.
“My experience as an African-American man is that we are comfortable and open to sexuality, so we can make it the most difficult,” Norfleet told the outlet. “But when we got together, I realized this was someone I really fell in love with and someone I didn’t want to hide.”
Other celebrities attending the 300 guest wedding include Regina King, Sterling K. Brown, Sarah Paulson and Josh Duhamel.
“Five to five years of love, laughter, peace! From “I” to “We Still.” Hemingway wrote on Instagram to celebrate the couple’s fifth wedding anniversary in September 2024.

Charles Malik Whitfield, who plays Jules, is married to Rosie Whitfield. The couple shares their son Leo. Charles is also the father of three daughters, Lexi, Chiara, Madisin, and son Malik.
In May 2020, Charles hoped his wife would have a happy Mother’s Day and thanked her for her support.
“I scream happy Mother’s Day to my wife Rosie, who has this house together,” he wrote on Instagram.

Debbie Morgan, who portrayed Olivia, has been married to her fourth husband, Jeffrey Winston, on July 13th, 2009.
“15 Years of Wedding Bliss. I Love You!” The actress wrote on Instagram in honor of the couple’s wedding anniversary in July 2024.
Morgan was married to actor Charles Weldon from 1980 to 1984. Actor Charles Dutton from 1989 to 1994, and photographer Don Thompson from 1997 to 2000.
Ricco Ross and Julie Ross

Ricco Ross, who plays Horace, is married to his “goddess” Julie Shannon Ross. He is also the father of his daughters Aisha and Makaira and son Rami.
Ross often posts about traveling with his wife, including the Las Vegas Road Trip in October 2024, and New York City’s stay in the month before Julie’s birthday rings.
