Matt and Abby Howard are open about losing their third baby.
In an Instagram post on Saturday, September 27th, the influencer and podcast host shared that as 26-year-old Abby, they are grieving the loss of their baby daughter.
“With a very heavy heart, what we share about our baby girl being born too early is a photo of us clenched hands together in our hospital bed.
“On a routine pregnancy appointment, our doctors couldn’t find a heartbeat. After they sent us to ultrasound, the technician said something we’ll never forget, “I’m sorry I don’t have the good news,” the post continued. “It’s the news when we revealed a gender we never wanted and that our baby had a genetic condition that took us about 17 weeks of life.”
“The news felt unimaginable. The sadness is absolutely devastating,” writes 27-year-old Abby and Matt. “But we are very grateful for the time we’ve been with her. And we still have hope. Hope continues to emerge for us in many ways.”

“Privacy in our family is so important, so that’s the area we run with each other,” Abby said at the time. “Anything about our child’s health, that’s really important, and it’s the details of the place, whether it’s when we’re traveling or in our home.”
