Call it “The Martha Way.”
Tutor Martha Stewart is single, but she believes she would make a great partner for a lucky gentleman.
“I’m very good at it,” she told Page Six Friday at the Hudson River Park Friends’ 10th Annual Playground Committee Luncheon. “I know how to cook, I know how to clean, I know how to take care of the house. Those are all very housewife skills.”
When asked if he still uses feather dusters, 84-year-old Stewart flatly denies that the days of dusters are over.
“Of course!” she exclaimed. “I completely redecorated my room this week. I got a new rug and moved some furniture. It’s time for some spring cleaning!”
And when Page Six grilled Stewart on her cleaning skills, asking if she still scrubs toilets, the lifestyle guru fired back.
“If it’s dirty, I’ll scrub it,” she replied, adding, “But my toilet isn’t dirty!”
Stewart, who looked stunning in a yellow outfit, said she is currently single and there’s a reason for that.
“I don’t have time,” she cried, noting that on Thursdays she left home at 6:30 a.m. and returned home at 9 p.m.
Although she may be too busy to date, Stewart always makes sure to look her best wherever she goes.
She recently revealed that she always takes a shower and puts on makeup before working out at the gym every morning.
“And I’m really fine,” she told Paige DeSorbo on the podcast. “I have to because there are men in the gym, and there are other people who might look at me. And I don’t want to look bad.”
Stewart married Andrew Stewart in 1961 and they had a daughter, Alexis. They divorced in 1990.
