Margot Robbie issued a statement in New York City on Monday in a vintage Muggler gown and a small black mini dress. She was promoting her new film, “A Big Bold Beautiful Journey,” which premiered on September 19th.
Margot Robbie delivered two head tinning looks in New York City yesterday. At the premiere of her new film, “A Big Bold Beautiful Journey,” she slammed the red carpet with a bold black and white mugler bodice gown with a steep neckline and dramatic slits. The bold, bare legs of the legs were originally worn on Thierry McGler’s Haute Couture runway in the spring of 1998. Completed the ensemble, the lobby wore silver jewels and black stiletto sandals.
In the evening, the lobby traded the couture exterior for something more minimalist. She was photographed wearing a small, strapless black mini dress paired with strap sandals.
Already today, Robbie has debuted another mini dress.
Big Bold Beautiful Journey will be Lobby’s first released film since Barbie in 2023. According to a summary of Rotten Tomatoes, she and co-star Colin Farrell “play the single stranger you meet at the wedding of a mutual friend. Soon, you’ll find yourself on a huge, bold, beautiful journey with an incredible twist of fate.”
In an August interview with Vanity Fair, Robbie shared a teaser for the film. “If you could even feel how magical it was for the audience to make this film, it would be the most incredible experience in the theater,” she told the publication. “Making this film was truly one of the most magical experiences of my life.” A bold, beautiful journey is set to be released on September 19th.
The actress also stars in a new adaptation of writer Emily Bronte’s 1847 novel Wuthering Heights. In the upcoming film directed by Emerald Fennell, Robbie will play Katherine Earnshaw, contrary to Jacob Elordi’s Heathcliff. Speaking to MTV in August, Robbie said the film was a wild Saltburn level. “It’s a banana, it’s great, it’s amazing.” Thankfully, the audience has time to prepare for the estimated confusion as the flashy heights will appear in the theater on February 13th, 2026.
Robbie’s upcoming projects marked her return to the spotlight after welcoming her first child in October 2024 along with her husband Tom Ackerley. “When you try to explain it to someone with kids, they don’t need to get it, and if they don’t, it’s probably really boring to hear it.
