Margot Robbie’s Wuthering Heights era continues to get bolder.
Robbie got her latest Victorian look from the archives as she arrived in London for a photocall ahead of the premiere.
Pulling a full look straight from John Galliano’s Spring/Summer 1992 runway, she rocked a silk brocade duster coat, fastened with four hooks at the sternum, exposing her navel.
The green garment was accented with pink feather material on the cuffs and collar.
As announced 34 years ago, Robbie wore a black micro miniskirt underneath and red thigh-high stockings tied at the top of her thighs with a pink silk ribbon.
She finished the look with pale blue-gray satin d’Orsay heels and pearl drop earrings.
Robbie definitely started the method dressing trend at the 2023 “Barbie” press tour. Along with stylist Andrew Mukamal, the pair allowed Robbie’s on-screen character to appear on the red carpet, like most of her previous examples, and maximize the fashion theatrics for each film’s release.
Less than a week after kicking off her current promotional tour, Robbie has made a name for herself with her ode to Catherine Earnshaw, the character from Emily Bronte’s novel that was adapted into a film.
We’ve seen corseted looks, gathered ball gowns, and sheer lace ruffles time and time again in places like Los Angeles and Paris.
And what about jewelry? She brings her A-game to that category as well.
The actress chose Elizabeth Taylor’s Cartier Taj Mahal necklace featuring a 69.42 carat heart-shaped diamond in California.
Just two days ago, she was all about diamonds again, wearing a red velvet choker with a Lorraine Schwartz stone weighing over 100 carats around her neck.
With over a week left until the movie’s theatrical release, we’re getting into the (hurried) seams to see what else Robbie pulls out of her wardrobe.
