Margaret Qualley is revealing all, including a rare insight into her marriage to music producer Jack Antonoff.
“I’ve always been very love-oriented,” the “Substance” actress, 31, told Vanity Fair in a new interview published Thursday. For this interview, she appeared on the cover of the magazine wearing a towel with the classic “I Love New York” logo on it.
“I was always looking for my person and I found Jack,” she said in the interview, which also featured a photo of her posing in a sequined minidress and a black lace two-piece set. “Jack definitely helped me because he gave me the confidence to explore every part of myself.”
When asked if she and Antonoff were planning to have children, Qualley replied: “For sure.”
Although the paper noted that the actress was reluctant to delve too deeply into how her marriage works, Qualley revealed more details about her husband and the 41-year-old’s personal life in a follow-up statement texted to Vanity Fair.
“I love my husband and family. I love dancing and horses. I love the moon. Crying with happiness is the best. I love listening to Tara Black and books on tape. And anything Jack writes,” she wrote.
“Female friendship is so sacred, shout out Talia Ryder,” she also said. “My sister was my first soulmate. I want to die on the farm,” she added.
“I have to learn how to move the stick. My brother taught me how to do it, but since I was 12 years old, it didn’t work out.”
Qualley and Antonoff first became romantically linked in August 2021 when they were photographed kissing on a bridge in Brooklyn.
In the hilarious photo, the couple were seen arm in arm as they walked to an ice cream shop for their low-key date.
The two attended the AFI Awards Luncheon together in March 2022 and officially announced their relationship.
Qualley was spotted wearing a stunning diamond sparkler, estimated to be worth nearly $100,000, at the Cannes Film Festival, and it was reported that they got engaged in May 2022.
On August 19, 2023, the couple was officially married at Parker’s Garage in LBI.
In attendance were Qualley’s mother Andie MacDowell and sister Laney Qualley, as well as famous friends including Taylor Swift, Channing Tatum, Zoe Kravitz and Cara Delevingne.
