Mandy Moore and Ashley Tisdale’s friendship was yesterday.
The “This Is Us” alum praised Hilary Duff’s husband Matthew Koma via Instagram Story on Wednesday, but hours later Tisdale mocked her for bringing the “toxic” A-list mom group under fire.
Moore, 41, reposted a video Koma, 38, uploaded on Wednesday of her performing at Concert for Altadena, a benefit for survivors of last year’s California fires.
“@matthewkoma is one of the most talented and generous human beings I’m lucky enough to know,” the actress exclaimed.
“One year ago today, when we evacuated, you literally gave my family a place to stay,” continued Moore, whose home burned down in January 2025.
“I love you, MB!” she concluded.
Moore’s passionate social media upload came hours after Koma intervened in the drama with his wife’s former mom group members.
Koma copied the promo image for Tisdale’s scathing essay in The Cut, exposing the group’s “toxic” and “high school” dynamic.
“Mom groups tell everything through the eyes of the father. When you’re the most self-centered tone-deaf person on the planet, other mothers tend to shift their focus to their actual infants,” he captioned the fake post.
Koma has since deleted the post, but his wife has completely ignored the controversy.
Instead, Duff shared a video promoting one of his new songs, which includes racy lyrics about going crazy “in the back of a dive bar.”
The former Disney Channel star, 38, also praised Janice Gott, one of the members of her mom friend group, on Wednesday’s Story, calling the MUU founder “the real deal” for bringing her eggs.
A representative for Tisdale did not respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
I’ve heard that it took a “long time” for a rift to appear in their friendship.
While Tisdale herself has been quiet on social media, the “Phineas and Ferb” alum’s husband, Christopher French, recently made headlines with two pointed posts on his Instagram Story.
One read, “It’s your choice to participate or not,” while another said, “An underrated life skill: Pausing to decide if it’s worth your energy.”
