Los Angeles’ most stylish fashion figures are busy preparing their Sunday best ahead of this weekend’s Vogue World: Hollywood event. But Café Kallmeyer’s latest pop-up event in Dresden just kicked off the festivities early with several fashionable faces including Jennifer Beals, Mamie Gummer and Mandy Moore.
Last night, Moore was spotted at the famed Hollywood Lounge for the launch of “Drafting,” a new creative series from Run-A-Mac, a new multiplatform culture-promoting media company founded by former Condé Nast executive Pamela Drucker Mann. “Saturday Night Live” star Chloe Fineman co-hosted the event.
Moore wore an elegant mahogany-colored strapless wool dress by South African designer Daniel Kallmeyer. A structured bodice gave way to a tailored pleated skirt, creating soft movement and a perfect fit for evening events. The singer accessorized with matching pointy-toe heels and a slim silver handbag.
The 41-year-old actress opted for a warm, shimmery eye look with dark liner and a glossy nude lip. Her light brown hair grazed the sparkling diamond tennis necklace around her neck.
It was a markedly different look from her look at Step Up’s 2025 Inspiration Awards earlier this month, when she opted for a bold red lip, dramatic brows and dark brunette roots.
After the incident, some fans felt the former teen pop singer was “almost unrecognizable” and suggested that the star may have recently undergone some type of cosmetic surgery.
At the time, one person wrote to X: “I’m really confused.” “I don’t understand how this can be the same person. Mandy Moore was such a natural beauty, so why would she have to work so hard to go unrecognized?”
“‘Sorry, has anyone else seen Mandy Moore lately? This is a far cry from the face she was assigned at birth???” one person joked.
The “This Is Us” star and mother of three, whose youngest child was born in September 2024, has been in the spotlight since she made her singing debut at age 15 with her hit single “Candy.” It’s safe to say that fashion and beauty trends have evolved since then.
Fans are quick to point out subtle changes in appearance, but they may be overlooking the fact that growing old in your own way is a blessing.
From our perspective, we couldn’t be happier.
