Malcolm McDowell spills the secrets of his marriage.

While chatting with people about his newly released film Etu, the 82-year-old Hollywood veteran was also opened up about his family life and his 30-year marriage to wife Kelly Cour.

When asked about the secret of long-term love, McDowell, who tied the knot with Kuhr in 1991, provided a humble response. “What do you know? Honestly, I’m not an interpersonal expert,” Starr tells people, adding, “I wish I was there.”

“And I think it’s very important and just respecting you to like the partner you’re with,” he said, adding that he’s “very lucky” in the department.

“My wife is a great designer and at this point she does this house in Mexico. It’s her masterpiece. It’s amazing what she did and I’m very proud of her,” he adds Kuhr.

The Tank Girl actor continued to point out that he and his longtime love are not in the same field of work, but have some common love, including spending a lot of time in antique shops.

“She doesn’t do what I do, but she’s just as successful in her own way, and I’m in awe of what she’s doing. It’s amazing. I don’t know how she does it, but she does,” he says of the designer. “But we are also collectors.”

“We gather things,” he tells people. That, and it’s “so much fun,” he adds.

The couple “every time they’re having fun wherever they go,” says a Hollywood vet.

Malcolm and Cool are parents and share three sons: 21, Finn, 18, 18, 16. He is the grandfather of four girls, including his daughter Lily’s dad, 44 and 42-year-old son Charlie and his ex-wife Mary Steenbergen.

Elsewhere in the chat about Et Tu, the actor revealed about Tove, his “absolutely gorgeous” baby granddaughter. The couple announced that they welcomed their daughter on behalf of January.

“She’s absolutely gorgeous,” McDowell tells little people. “It’s definitely beautiful.”

Of his granddaughters, the actor said, “I love being around them and seeing the continued attitude and all the dynamics and differences between them. It’s incredible.”

“They’re very different in personality and everything. They’re just beautiful to see,” he adds.
