The Midway Point of the Stranger: Chapter 2, Petsch’s fearless final girl Maya is attacked by a large wild boar while escaping from the masked murderer. The 31-year-old actress tells people that she was shocked by the scene just like the audience.
“When I saw it in the script, I was like, ‘f– do this?’ But I also say, “Hey, I’m already doing it, so let’s go.”

When it was time to actually shoot the scene, a bigger challenge was a hit. “When we set it up, I was very scared of the idea. I was very worried and nervous about it. I really had to calm my mind, quiet all the voices of doubt, go there and do everything I could,” she adds.
The production used “Creature Actors” to film the scene where Maya is chased, trampled on and attacked by wild animals.
Petsch says having a partner for the scene is “very helpful” while filming the scene. But to give herself even more to her performance, she says, “I had to live in the situations (Maya) was experiencing.”
Stranger: Chapter 2 sees director Rennie Harlin’s return from the first article in the film’s renewal. The horror flick is picked up from where the first one departs, and the hospital Maya recovers from the murder. When she discovers that a ruthless murderer is still targeting her, she is thrown into another fight for her life.

In addition to her starring role, the Riverdale alumni was executive producer and was able to contribute to the scripting and editing process.
“When I become an actor, I just get the feeling that I know it’s mine and I can’t explain it to you. That’s what I mean when I become a producer who knows that I have to do this, “How can I serve in a deeper way, in addition to the story?” Without my need, I don’t want to produce.”
Petsch explained that acting was her first love, and she said, “I just want to be an actor, but if I have the need or place to come and creatively adjust, I will do it.”
She recalls that she joined as an actor and then arrived to set it up with feedback on the script. After working with the writing team for several weeks, producer Courtney Solomon suggested that she be involved as a producer.
“So we called Lionsgate and they were like, ‘Absolutely’. He surprised me. When it feels right, I want to produce, and if it doesn’t need me like that, I’m just happy to act,” says Pecce.
The actress “has gained more knowledge about how I want to work in the world” as she will be seen for the third article released later since appearing in the horror franchise.

“I think women are usually active with a lot of fear in their daily lives, so if there is, I try not to add it to my life.
Petsch also wears two hats needed for maintenance for her upcoming films.
“It’s a whole other aspect we’ve never tapped before. I have a really great cast in that film,” she teases.
