Actress Brenda Song is causing a stir at Alaska Airlines.
The 37-year-old star slammed the airline for ruining her family vacation with fiancé Macaulay Culkin, claiming the airline separated her from her sons – Dakota, 4, and Carson, 3 – even though they had booked first class seats together months in advance.
The Disney Channel alum went on an Instagram rant, claiming she was “given away” her seat without warning as her family was planning to celebrate Dakota’s birthday.
“I didn’t know when to book first class tickets for my family 6 months in advance…@alaskaair can give away seats the same morning without any warning,” she wrote on her Instagram Story on Saturday.
She doubled down by tagging Culkin and warning fans to “never fly” that airline again.
The ‘Home Alone’ icon was quick to back up her partner, reposting her blistering attack with a cheeky jab. “Hell hath no fury like the one Brenda despised…”
The airline is currently in full damage control mode. A spokesperson told TMZ that the incident was “unacceptable” and does not reflect the company’s standards.
“Travelling with young children in particular can be stressful, and we are proud to be the leading airline for family travel,” the spokesperson added. “We deeply apologize for any friction this experience may have caused.”
The state of Alaska has contacted the couple to try to rectify the situation, the paper said.
Song and Culkin, who met on the set of the movie Changeland in 2017, have kept their relationship relatively private, but have recently given fans a glimpse into their home life. The two got engaged in early 2022 and welcomed Dakota and Carson in 2021 and 2022.
However, their family relationship has already raised eyebrows. During a recent appearance on “The Jennifer Hudson Show,” Song revealed that Culkin still doesn’t know how to drive.
“I took him for drives around the neighborhood. It was scary,” she admitted, calling him “a very unique human being.”
Despite the turmoil in the sky, the couple’s real estate is soaring.
After reportedly unloading their Toluca Lake home for a whopping $14.24 million, they dropped $10.3 million on a new six-bedroom mansion in Los Angeles’ Sherman Oaks.
