Lori Loughlin is reportedly still harboring resentment towards her estranged husband Mossimo Giannulli, three months after announcing their shocking split.
A source told People on Monday that the “Full House” star “remains very angry” at the fashion designer.
Despite the actress’ outrage, another source said Giannulli “hopes everything will be resolved quietly” and thinks her ex-boyfriend is “a wonderful person and a wonderful mother” to her daughters Olivia Jade, 26, and Isabella Rose, 27.
Representatives for Loughlin, 61, and Giannulli, 62, did not immediately respond to Page Six for comment.
Despite announcing in October that they were separating after nearly 28 years of marriage, Page Six has confirmed that the exes have not yet filed for divorce.
A source told Page Six at the time that the “turning point” in their relationship was when he discovered “incriminating” text messages on his ex-girlfriend’s cell phone after serving time in prison for his role in the Varsity Blues’ 2019 college admissions campaign.
Loughlin and Giannulli pleaded guilty in 2020 to paying $500,000 in bribes to get their daughters into the University of Southern California as rowing recruits.
The Hallmark star served a two-month prison sentence, and Giannulli served a five-month sentence.
“Mossimo had been using Lori for years,” a friend told Us in October. “She had hoped that he might change once he got out of prison, but he got worse.”
A source said Loughlin “doesn’t want anything to do with” Giannulli and “wants her life back.”
Additionally, Us Weekly reported, “The school scandal was a turning point, and their relationship never really got together or recovered after that.”
Officials claimed Loughlin felt the businessman was “caught up” in the incident.
He spearheaded it,” the source claimed, adding that the Hallmark star “never fully forgave him and never fully recovered.”
Before calling it quits, Loughlin and Giannulli put their Hidden Hills, Calif., mansion on the market for $16.5 million in February, People reported at the time.
Although Loughlin has kept a low profile since their separation was announced, Giannulli has occasionally been spotted hanging out with a much younger female friend.
