The BFI London Film Festival has announced speakers and events to participate in the industry forum in the upcoming 69th edition.
The lineup headline is a spotlight conversation with Thessalos, a pioneering British producer who ran Film4 for over a decade.
Elsewhere in the program, Variety supports a panel discussion examining the “complex art of co-production” that includes producers Maria Ekerjodo (“Sentimental Values”), Emily Morgan (“Dreamer”), Claudia Rostwauwska (“Orfan”), and Lorna Tee (“Diamond”). Meanwhile, documentary film distribution strategies will be considered in a panel with executives from Autolook Filmsales, Modern Films, Indox and Perpetua Cine, but the spotlight will be coming into the “art and technology of visual effects” with Framestore, Milk, Belofx and one of our creatives and executives.
Other events include deep diving into Sky’s upcoming limited series, The Death of Bunny Munro, based on Nick Cave’s novel. This expands the “Debut Anatomy” session with “Ish” writer Perretta producer Dhiraj Mahey and co-writer Enda Walsh and Inauguurural Lff’s Lff’s expanded industrial platform.
Keeping our homes closer, a team of film events directors and senior programmers, including Cannes Critics Week Thomas Rosso, Berlin’s Jacqueline Llanga, Gateborg Film Festival’s Pier Randberg Film Festival’s Jacqueline Llanga, and London Film Festival’s Jacqueline Llanga, will look at the “evolution of the roles that support festivals and talent.”

The BFI London Film Festival will be held from October 8th to October and will open with Wake Up Dead Man: Knife Out Mystery.
