Paul vs. Paul.
Logan Paul slammed his brother Jake Paul’s criticism of Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl LX halftime show.
The conflict between the two brothers began when Jake declared through X that he did not watch the six-time Grammy winner’s performance and advised others to follow suit.
“I intentionally turned off the halftime show,” Jake tweeted to his 4.4 million followers. “Let’s come together and show big corporations that they can’t do whatever they want without consequences (which for them equals ratings). You are their profit. Recognize that you have the power. Stop this halftime.”
The YouTuber also called Bad Bunny, a Puerto Rican-born American citizen, a “fake American citizen who is publicly performing to hate America.”
“I can’t support that,” Jake concluded.
Logan, 30, applauded his brother and replied: “I love my brother, but I don’t agree with this.”
“Puerto Ricans are Americans and I’m glad they were given the opportunity to showcase the talent that comes from the island,” Logan added in the X post.
The WWE star owns and lives in a $32 million home in Puerto Rico, which he shows off on his YouTube page.
Following his brother’s backlash, Jake clarified his comments about Bad Bunny in a follow-up tweet.
“The problem with my tweet is that the word fake is misunderstood,” Jake, 29, began Monday morning. “He is not a fake citizen, he is clearly a Puerto Rican and I love Puerto Rico and all Americans who support this country. Moreso Bunny is a fake citizen given his values and criticism of our great country.”
“To be clear, I did not call anyone a ‘fake national’ because they are from Puerto Rico. I live in Puerto Rico and I love Puerto Rico. I have used my platform to support Puerto Rico and will continue to do so. But if you are doing your job in public and publicly criticizing ICE for hating America, I am going to talk about it. Okay, that’s the same reason I called out Hunter,” Hess said.
“When you benefit from a country and its platform, and at the same time publicly disrespect it, that’s what makes you a fake citizen,” Jake said. “And we agree that love is more powerful than hate. Love America.”
Bad Bunny, a former WWE professional wrestler, headlined the 2026 Super Bowl halftime show at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
The 31-year-old celebrated his country by performing hits including “Tity Me Pregunto,” “Yo Pereo Sola” and “DtMF” as Cardi B, Jessica Alba, Karol G, Pedro Pascal and Alix Earl danced around him.
Lady Gaga and Ricky Martin made guest appearances during the show. Gaga performed a surprise rendition of herself and Bruno Mars’ “Die with a Smile,” and Martin sang “Lo Que Pasó a Hawaiian.”
Bad Bunny’s performance was praised by some but criticized by others, including President Trump.
“The Super Bowl halftime show was truly awful, one of the worst shows ever!” Trump, 79, wrote on Truth Social during the game. “It makes no sense, it is an insult to our great America, and it does not represent our standards of success, creativity and excellence.”
The president continued: “Nobody can understand a word this guy is saying. That dance is disgusting, especially for young children watching from all over America and around the world.”
