Lisa Vanderpump is teasing what’s next for Vanderpump Rules and its new cast.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum, 65, appeared on a panel discussion at BravoCon 2025 on Saturday, Nov. 15, where she spoke at length about the upcoming 12th season (and renewal) of the long-running Bravo classic.
“It definitely has a different flavor,” Vanderpump told the audience. “It’s new, it’s interesting, it’s fast. You’ll see it when you see it. But yeah, we’re not trying to recreate that. We’ve done it and I think we’ve done it well. So this is something different.”
Bravo announced the latest installment of Vanderpump Rules in 2024, and the cast will include familiar faces like Jax Taylor, Ariana Madix, and Tom Sandoval, as well as new SUR employees.
More than a year after Season 11 ended in May 2024, Bravo released the first trailer and cast lineup on November 3, previewing a “new shift” for the show. According to Bravo, the new season will feature “a deep-rooted and dynamic group of friends, adversaries, and lovers who’ve been working for Lisa Vanderpump at SUR for years,” and “shake things up from pumpies to chaos.”
“Despite new uniforms and some fresh faces, the show remains just as messy and complex as its iconic predecessor,” the network said in its Season 12 synopsis.
New cast members include Venus Binkley, Jason Cohen, Shane Davis, Natalie Maguire, SUR newcomer Angelica Jensen, and Vanderpump herself returns.
“They’re a wild bunch,” Vanderpump said at BravoCon. “They’re so much fun. I like all of them. I like all of their mischief and banter.”

While the reboot will definitely be fun, Vanderpump also promised that the new cast will have more depth.
“Everyone has some kind of history,” she said. “We get pretty emotionally deep with some of them. It’s very different from Vanderpump Rules, where the issues got very serious. It’s become more of an adult show.”

In a preview of the show shown at BravoCon, Vanderpump described the new cast as “naughtier, sexier, and funnier” than the original stars. She said she knew “it was time” to move forward with a new cast.
“We’ve had to deal with people not wanting to film with each other,” she said. “I’ve always said, ‘I don’t want to be on a sinking ship.'”
Vanderpump said, “I’m hoping the new cast will all be ‘nasty’ by this time next year.” Because if you do that, you will know that the program will be successful.
Ahead of the new season, Bravo will also release a lookback special, “Raise Your Glass to 11 Seasons,” in which Vanderpump and Andy Cohen look back at more than a decade of Vanderpump Rules. It will air on Bravo on November 25th at 9pm ET/PT.
“The past 12 years of filming have been extraordinary, filled with laughter, tears, and everything in between,” Vanderpump said in a statement about the upcoming season in July. “I can’t thank everyone enough for sharing my life with me. How much I love you all. In the restaurant industry, you’re always being replaced by the next shift.”
She added, “Cheers to the next generation of Vanderpump Rules.”
Vanderpump Rules Season 12 premieres on Bravo on December 2nd at 9pm ET/PT, with episodes available on Peacock the next day.
Held at Caesars Forum on the Las Vegas Strip, BravoCon opens in Las Vegas on Friday, November 14th and runs through Sunday, November 16th.
