Lisa Rinna’s recent appearance on “Traitors” provided an emotional glimpse into her exit from “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.”
On Thursday, Rinna, 62, appeared on the popular “Peacock” series but became the latest person to be kicked out of the roundtable. She used the confessional opportunity to reflect on her entire life with real estate television.
“The end of ‘Housewives’ was very difficult for me,” she recalled tearfully. “I’m so glad to be me. I’m so grateful for this whole experience. Thank you.”
Rinna joined ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ during Season 5 and spent eight seasons on the Bravo show before exiting in 2022.
“This is the longest job I’ve held in my 35-year career, and I’m grateful to everyone at Bravo and everyone involved in the series,” Rinna told People in a statement at the time.
“It’s been a fun eight years. I can’t wait to see what happens next!”
According to the outlet, Rinna and Bravo’s breakup was by mutual consent.
Just a few days ago, Rinna walked back her previous “stalking” comments after Traitors nemesis Colton Underwood’s restraining order scandal resurfaced and the reality star received death threats.
The Housewives alum took to her Instagram Story on Saturday to ask her followers to “be kind” to Underwood.
“I realized that my posts that I responded to in ‘Housewife mode’ were taking on a life of their own and were causing serious problems for Colton,” Rinna began.
“I don’t want this to happen because Colton and I are great people. He’s been great and he’s a great nemesis for me on the show (and in the matches).”
“If I told you I wanted you to be a housewife, I’d take you, right? That’s what I was doing in the name of the game. But I want you to know, I’m totally compatible with Colton,” Rinna continued, adding that the two stars are “texting” each other.
“The fact that there’s a backlash is scary because I don’t want to hurt anyone. I’m here to play the game and have fun,” she added.
“It’s been a lot of fun. We’ve always had a great time with him. So please everyone, please be gentle. It’s a game, it’s a TV show, and we’re all doing our best. Please don’t send death threats or do anything that puts anyone’s family at risk.”
Bravolebrity concluded by reiterating that her comments were “all part of the game.”
