What you need to know
Lisa Barlow spoke out about her position with husband John Barlow after discussing their rift on Season 6 of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.
During Part 3 of the reunion, which aired on Tuesday, January 27, host Andy Cohen asked Lisa a fan question about “what’s really going on” in Lisa’s marriage because “it seems like John wants to embarrass you in front of the cameras.”
It’s a reference to a conversation John had earlier in the season about the rocky parts of his marriage, in which he told Lisa, “If we’re not on the same page, it’s because I’m not on the same page with you.”
“It was a really long, painful conversation for both of us,” Lisa told Andy.
“Sometimes I feel completely undervalued,” she said through tears. “I looked back and cried for two days. I was like, ‘I don’t want to be near you, I don’t want you to talk to me, it’s just going to hurt me. If you don’t listen to me, how is this going to end? How is Henry going to get what he needs for school? How is Jack going to get his care package? How are we going to get all the shirts cleaned and all the suits?'”

Lisa told Andy that she had “been trying very hard” to listen to John.
“We’ve been together for a very long time,” she said. “We’re business partners, we’re parents, we’re best friends, we love each other. The bottom line is that he knows very well that I’m trying very hard to listen to him. To me, it really felt like a jab for him to say that when he knows I’m trying very hard to listen to him. He took that opportunity to take the jab, and it hurt.”
“I also told him, ‘I’m going to die before I make you feel bad. You just made me look bad for something you knew would hurt me,'” she continued. “He broke my heart.”
