Lila Grace Moss led the signature free hoh bullet style of supermodel Mama Kate while out to Paris on Monday.
Today, 23 years old, the model is out of the Ritz Hotel in Paris, wearing a gorgeous embroidery belt and a white Brodery angled dress that looks straight from Kate’s early 2000s playbook.
She paired loose black leather boots with oversized sunglasses and loose dresses, and accessorized them with a structured black St. Laurent shoulder bag ($2,750).
Her blonde hair fell into loose waves and joined the aesthetics of Glastonbury-Circa-2003.
The styling choice is particularly nostalgic for fashion fans who remember Kate’s golden age of Free Ho disease when she and fellow IT girl Sienna Miller ruled the festival circuit with embroidered peasant blouses, vintage belts and their iconic Hunter Weary.
Recently, 51-year-old elder Moss has been making things even more refined. In Paris, she styled her low-waisted olive green pants with a low-cut button-down blouse and an arm-filled gold bracelet.
A refined updo and round heels finished the look.
For Lila, raiding her mother’s closet is her favorite entertainment (and can she blame her?)
“It’s so funny because I consistently copy her outfit,” Lila told Vogue in a 2023 video, admitting that she had grabbed several items from Kate’s closet over the years.
However, footwear remains the final frontier. “I can’t steal her shoes. It’s devastating. She’s size 6, I’m size 5, and that’s one of my biggest regrets,” she continued.
Lila made her modeling debut in 2018 at the age of 16 at Marc Jacobs Beauty. She has since walked the runway for brands such as Miu Miu, Stella McCartney and Victoria’s Secret.
Last week she sat in the front row at the Gucci Show at Milan Fashion Week and Burberry in London. She also went on the runway alongside fellow Nepo Babies Romeo Beckham, Iris Law and Amelia Gray Hamlin at H&M’s large budget Extravaganza.
Despite the sensibilities and career paths of similar styles, the mother-daughter duo has deviated in several important ways.
“She’s more carefree where I’m more organized,” Lila told her mother, Vogue in 2023. “She is intuitive and I am disciplined.
But what about fashion? The apple is clearly not far from the tree.
