Camila Mendes has a forever friend in her Riverdale castmates.
On Friday, October 24th, Lili Reinhart, Madeleine Petsch, and KJ Apa reunited to celebrate Mendes and Rudy Mancuso’s engagement.
Mendes posted photos from the engagement party on Instagram, including one of the soon-to-be bride and Reinhardt sharing a touching hug at the event.

“Thank you to my loved ones for coming to celebrate this milestone with me. Best surprise ever,” Mendes captioned the post on Tuesday, October 28. Reinhart shared the photo on her Instagram Stories and wrote, “LOL 💍.”
A source previously told PEOPLE that Mendes “was going to his producing partner Rachel Matthews’ birthday party, but it turned out to be a surprise engagement party.”

“Rudy proposed to her in front of his family and friends,” a source said.
Petch shared two selfies with Reinhart and Apa on his Instagram Story, reflecting on the event in more detail, noting that it was “reunion weekend.”
Apa shared one of the photos of the group smiling and laughing on his Instagram Stories and wrote, “My girls ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️.”
After seven seasons, Riverdale aired its final episode on August 23, 2023. Since then, the cast has kept in touch and often supports each other.
In May 2024, Mendes and Reinhart attended the Los Angeles premiere of Strangers: Chapter 1, starring Petsch. Mendes and Petsch were spotted hanging out at Vogue World: Hollywood on Sunday, October 26th. Reinhardt, Petsch, and Mendez also have a group chat.

Mendes and Mancuso officially announced their relationship on Instagram on Valentine’s Day in 2023. The two first met over Zoom while working on the Amazon film Música, which Mancuso wrote and directed. Mancuso also appears in the film alongside Mendes.
“I obviously had a little bit of a crush on her, but I didn’t know if it was a work-related crush or if it was real,” Mendes said in February 2024. “And then when we met in person, it became clear to me that it was real.”
