Lil Jon is asking for “prayers” and “privacy” after his son Nathan Smith goes missing in Georgia.
“At this time, the family requests privacy,” a rep for the rapper told Page Six on Wednesday, shortly after Milton police issued a missing person alert.
“We also ask that you continue to pray for Nathan’s safe return home.”
Smith, who goes by the stage name DJ Young Slade, was last seen Tuesday morning at his home on Baldwin Drive in Milton.
Police said the 27-year-old man ran out of the home and has not been seen since, but police noticed he did not have his cell phone with him.
Local media outlet Rough Draft Atlanta, which first reported the news, said Smith may have been naked at the time of his departure.
“He may be disoriented and in need of assistance,” officers said, adding that his loved ones were “concerned for his safety.”
Smith is 5’9 tall and weighs approximately 150 pounds. He has short black hair, brown eyes, and a lip tattoo on his right collarbone, according to Rough Draft Atlanta.
Lil Jon (real name Jonathan Smith) shares ex-wife Nicole Smith with Nathan.
Jonathan, 55, described his son as “polite,” “well-mannered” and “a really, really good kid” in a May 2014 interview with Huffington Post.
“I listen to my son…he tells me everything,” the Grammy winner marveled at the time.
Jonathan is also the father of a one-year-old daughter, Nahara, with girlfriend Jamila Sozada.
