Zendaya and Tom Holland got married.
Zendaya’s stylist Law Roach broke the news of the pair’s marriage on the red carpet at the Actor’s Awards, telling Access Hollywood, “The wedding has already taken place. You missed it.” The reporter asked, “Is that true?” In response, Roach laughed and admitted, “That’s true.”
The longtime couple, who met on the set of Marvel’s Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2016, went public with their relationship in 2021. Engagement rumors began after Zendaya was spotted wearing a diamond ring on her left hand at last year’s Golden Globe Awards. In late 2025, Holland confirmed that the two were engaged after correcting a reporter who referred to Zendaya as his girlfriend. In a video that has gone viral online, Holland laughs and declares, “He’s my fiancée.”
Holland and Zendaya reprized their roles as Peter Parker and Michelle Jones Watson in 2019’s Spider-Man: Far From Home and 2021’s Spider-Man: No Way Home. The film is scheduled to be released twice in 2026, first in June for Spider-Man: Brand New Day and then in July for Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey.
The couple are notoriously private and rarely talk about their relationship in public. But they are open about the benefits of working with each other.
“It’s a relief. It’s the best thing that ever happened to me,” Holland said in 2024. “It’s just that familiar look at each other on set, when the director hands you a note that you might not agree with, or you know she doesn’t particularly like, but you’re like, ‘I can’t wait to talk about that later.'”
Meanwhile, Zendaya revealed that they met at a chemical test and testified that she feels “strangely comfortable” with her partner.
“It’s more like second nature,” she told Vanity Fair in 2025. “I feel a special sense of security when I’m with someone who’s acting next to me. I love working with him. He’s so talented and so passionate about what he does. He always gives 1000 percent to things, even when he’s completely exhausted. I really appreciate that in him. I feel like it’s just normal.”
