He said what he said.
Law Roach has stood by his claim that Zendaya and Tom Holland are married.
While chatting with Extra on the red carpet at the 2026 Oscars on Sunday, he was asked if he wanted to “clarify” the comments he originally made about marriage at the acting awards ceremony on March 1st.
“No,” Roach, 47, said with a smile. “I said what I said.”
He later reiterated that he was “just confirming” his initial comment that “Zendaya was married.”
The 29-year-old actress then appeared on stage at the Dolby Theater to present the Best Director award with her co-star Robert Pattinson for their new film, The Drama.
The Emmy winner skipped the red carpet and wore a custom Louis Vuitton gown, which she accessorized with a Jessica McCormack engagement ring and a gold band on her left hand.
She’s been rocking a gold band multiple times lately, including at the Essence Black Women in Hollywood Awards on March 12, where she appeared to fan the flames that she’s already married.
During the event, host Marsai Martin joked on stage that when the “Euphoria” star gives a wedding gift, “all it takes is a little nod or a sign.”
Zendaya then held her hands in front of her face, showing off her ring, as the crowd erupted into cheers.
Roach apparently spilled the tea on Zendaya’s marriage rumors over two weeks ago.
“The wedding has already taken place,” he told “Access Hollywood” at the 2026 SAG Actor Awards. “You missed it.”
Zendaya’s mother, Claire Stormer, later raised questions with a cryptic upload on Instagram, implying that Roach’s claims were a joke.
Zendaya got engaged to Holland, 29, between Christmas and New Year’s Eve 2024.
A source said at the time that Zendaya had “no idea” that Holland would propose, but that the couple had “talked about marriage for years.”
“Tom also wanted to keep the proposal private as they both value their privacy,” the source added.
The “Spider-Man” co-stars confirmed they were dating in 2021 after years of rumors that they were dating.
