Angie Harmon debuted her new boyfriend on Valentine’s Day this year.
The Law & Order star revealed that she has rekindled her relationship with model Tony Floyd.
Harmon and Floyd, who were previously married to NFL star Jason Seehorn, shared their history in a joint Instagram post.
The two first met in Italy when they were both 18 years old, and after going their separate ways, they found their way back together.
“We met in Italy when we were 18 years old, two kids running around looking for work, chasing dreams of modeling, and trying to make a living without going hungry along the way,” Floyd recalled.
“There was a spark between us even back then…but the timing just wasn’t right. In our 20s, we were in Los Angeles and we were both pursuing acting. You were always better than me. But we were together. And we were in love.”
In a lengthy eulogy, Floyd detailed how their relationship came full circle after years apart.
“Your passion showed on screen,” he added.
“We found a mine in Costa Mesa doing surfboard shaping. Still, timing wasn’t our thing. And 27 years later, our paths crossed again. Coincidence, or maybe fate.”
“This is the right time. This is our time, my love,” Floyd continued.
“My strength. My everything. My Angie. I love you more than words can express. You are still the same kind, loving, breathtaking, passionate warrior you met on an Italian subway platform 35 years ago. Only now, we know who we are. And we know what we have. Come on, let’s roll, my Valentine.”
Harmon was married to Seehorn for 13 years. The two met on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” after which the New York Giants cornerback proposed to the actress on the show.
They have three daughters: Finley, Avery, and Emery.
Seehorn and Harmon’s divorce had to do with differences in the couple’s schedules.
“A big part of it is when you spend five or six months a year away from your spouse, it gets really hard,” a source told Us Weekly at the time.
“At first, they really got along,” the source added, “but then they got into a situation where one of them took over the main responsibility of raising the children, while the other worked.”
