Lauren Sanchez got all the après-ski gear for her 56th birthday celebration in Aspen over the weekend.
The former journalist stepped out with her husband Jeff Bezos on Sunday wearing a burgundy Christian Dior coat designed by John Galliano for the fashion house’s fall 2000 collection.
The velvet coat is trimmed with lamb’s fur on the collar, cuffs and hips. Featuring a fit-and-flare silhouette and delicate floral print. A similar style recently sold on 1stDibs for $9,200.
Sanchez completed her cold-weather look with black leggings, a V-neck top, and chunky-heeled boots, and added a wide-brimmed black hat to match her billionaire husband’s cowboy-style topper.
On her arm? The item, believed to be a black crocodile skin Hermès Kelly 25 bag, typically sells for between $40,000 and $60,000, according to Sotheby’s.
This isn’t the first time she’s carried an expensive Hermès item with Bezos, 61, when she goes out with him. During her wedding weekend in Venice in June, she was spotted carrying the ultra-rare Kelly Midas, an 18-karat gold handle version worth up to $250,000.
Mr. Bezos was dressed for the Colorado climate in a Tom Ford calf leather shearling-trimmed bomber jacket ($11,800), jeans, and dark sunglasses.
On Friday, before jetting off to Aspen, Sanchez celebrated his birthday with a lavish holiday party attended by Khloe Kardashian and Kris Jenner.
Kardashian shared a snap from the festival on Instagram, captioning it, “A perfect night hosted by @laurensanchezbezos. Lauren, you are just the best. Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas 🎁🎄♥️.”
The philanthropist is pulling out the best of her designer wardrobe for her birthday. Last week, Sanchez attended a girls’ night out with reality star Brooks Nader at Alba restaurant in Los Angeles wearing an outfit worth more than $30,000.
The look included a blue Schiaparelli coat (originally $10,200) and a crystal-covered Chanel sphere bag (retail price $20,900).
