Lauren Conrad celebrated her 40th birthday with a lavish high school prom-themed soiree.
The “Laguna Beach” alum, whose real-life high school prom was filmed on MTV’s hit reality show in 2004, shared a series of photos from the party on Instagram on Friday.
In the first snapshot, Conrad, wearing a blue strapless wedding dress, locks lips with her husband, William Tell, who wears a coordinating retro blue tuxedo.
On her left arm, the “Hills” alum wore a traditional corsage and styled her brunette hair in her signature soft curls.
Other photos showed Something Corporate guitarist Conrad’s husband on stage for a performance and Lauren posing with various friends celebrating her milestone birthday.
Several behind-the-scenes photos gave fans a glimpse of the wild party preparations, which included pink and red floral centerpieces, balloons, streamers, and even a disco mirror ball going up.
One snapshot showed a photo booth-style photo taken at the party, along with a napkin that read “Senior, Senior Prom” and “Party like it’s 1999. Recover like it’s 2026.”
Conrad, who reached the milestone on February 1st, burst out with joy, writing in the caption, “It’s 40 years old✨ Celebrating with three of my favorite people, @williamtell2nd, leslieannebruce, and yashaaramin.”
“We were all born a few weeks apart, so we planned a prom to celebrate together and we had the best time!”
“Thank you @lastyoni for the beautiful photos, the band members for putting on a great show for us, and everyone who helped with the decorations,” she added, before quipping, “(and sorry to anyone I made feel old).”
Conrad famously attended Laguna Beach High School’s senior prom in the show’s Season 1 finale, and several of her fellow cast members who attended with her wrote in the comment thread.
Kristin Cavallari responded, “Yeah 😉,” while Morgan Smith chimed in: “Happy birthday beauty, prom queen! I can’t believe it’s this year!”
Taran Toriello added, “Happy birthday, LC,” along with a clapping hands emoji.
Fans also poured in comments congratulating the fashion designer. One person wrote: “Dream prom! Happy birthday, queen,” while another commented: “Corsage🤌🏻.”
Another person wrote, “This is giving me Opalite music video vibes 🤩,” referring to Taylor Swift’s recently released retro music video.
This birthday celebration comes just over a year after another major milestone.
In December 2024, Conrad joined Stephen Colletti, Dieter Schmitz, Trey Phillips, Morgan Olsen Smith, and Christina Schuller Sinclair for Laguna Beach High School’s 20-year reunion.
