From bayou boats to private planes.
Lana Del Rey jetted off to Paris in style this week, wearing a gorgeous Valentino outfit to board a flight to the City of Lights with her husband Jeremy Dufresne, a tour guide and airboat captain from Alligator, Louisiana.
The 40-year-old “Video Games” singer looked a front-row staple wearing the French fashion house’s faux-fur-trimmed belted tweed coat (usually $10,300, but currently on sale for 50% off) and khaki green Panthea bag ($3,800).
Meanwhile, Dufresne, 50, looked casual, wearing a trucker hat and a blue-and-white plaid quilted shacket with “Go Gator Go” written on the back. This is a tribute to his friends who were always with him in the bayou swamps.
The unlikely couple enjoyed Paris Fashion Week with Del Rey’s sister Chuck Grant, stylist Molly Dixon, stage engineer Cody Osbourne and manager Ben Mawson. The trip included a front row seat to Valentino’s Spring/Summer 2026 collection to see Creative Director Alessandro Michele’s latest collection.
Del Rey met Dufresne when she took him on a boat tour in 2019, and they met again a few years later, saying they would “see each other” in September 2024.
The “Summertime Sadness” singer gave a glimpse of their love story in a recent cover story for W Magazine.
“I realized right away that I loved him, but I thought it might be difficult because of what I brought to the table,” she told the outlet. “Jeremy said, ‘I work with alligators, and I have tough skin.’ And he’s a man of his word. All the things that upset me, and there were many, he just listened and said, ‘You are who you are, and I will love you even more.’ ”
Del Rey admitted that early in their relationship, feelings ran high under the pressure of tabloid pursuits, but Dufresne remained unfazed.
“If I were him, I think I would have been nervous. My emotions were more overwhelming than usual. And my normal emotions can be very overwhelming,” she said. “But Jeremy was fine. He said, ‘You can worry about yourself if you want, but don’t worry about me!'”
On September 26th, Dufresne wished the pop star a happy anniversary on Instagram, captioning a sweet post: “Happy first anniversary to my precious bride. May you be filled with a lifetime of love and happy tears ❤️.”
Photos showed the couple feeding each other wedding cake, gazing lovingly into each other’s eyes, and cuddling on a Bayou airboat while wearing fancy wedding attire.
