Alix Earle was praised by Lady Gaga for her performance on Dancing with the Stars.
After Earle posted a clip of her Halloween costume (inspired by Lady Gaga’s 2009 “Paparazzi” music video) on TikTok, Gaga expressed her love for the 24-year-old influencer and entertainer in the comments.
“Girl, I love you,” Gaga wrote in response to a TikTok video. “And I’m rooting for you on DWTS! I’m so happy, thank you.”
Earl also mentioned Lady Gaga during a performance with partner Val Chmerkovskiy on this week’s “Halloween Nights” episode on Oct. 28. The pair danced a tango to Billie Eilish’s “Bury a Friend,” and the intro featured the pair rising from a hole in the ground similar to the “Skeleton Pit” from Gaga’s “The Mayhem Ball” tour. Gaga utilizes props while singing “Perfect Celebrity.”
Earl frequently mentions Gaga as his favorite singer, and it appears that Earl is Gaga’s favorite on the ABC show’s 34th season. On Friday, it was revealed that the “Halloween Night” episodes averaged 6.74 million total viewers. It’s also a season high, according to the network, and “DWTS” has been on the rise for six consecutive weeks since the season’s premiere.
“Halloween Night” episodes were up 2% from the previous week (6.63 million on Oct. 21), an increase even though it was airing opposite Game 4 of the World Series on Fox.
