Lady Gaga paid tribute to Triple VMA’s victory during a performance at Madison Square Garden on Sunday night!
Mother Monster took home the Artist of the Year Award, Best Collaboration, Best Direction and Best Art Direction at the MTV Video Music Awards held at UBS Arena in Elmont, New York.
After scooping up the first awards of the evening for the best artists, the 39-year-old Gaga ran through the city to perform her final show on her “Mayhem” tour at Madison Square Garden (MSG). However, her VMA existed in MSG. Because Eagle Eyed fans have noticed that she incorporates Moonman statues into her performances of “Perfect Celebrity.”
The three silver statues were part of a set of songs that contained skeletons and skulls in the sandbox when they said, “You don’t let me rain, you love to hate me, I’m the perfect celebrity.”

Earlier that night, UBS Arena dedicated her “sick” singer and her Artist of the Year victory to the audience and her partner, Michael Polanski.
“I can’t start to tell you what this means to me,” the singer said. “When you navigate the mayhem of everyday life, you remember the importance of the art of your life and rely on your simple skills to keep you and you fully alive.”

“Being an artist is discipline, a technique to reach someone else’s mind, where you cultivate your roots and remind yourself of your dreams. Being an artist is the responsibility of smiling, dancing, crying, and releasing your audience on every turn,” she added.
“I dedicate this award to the audience. You deserve a very bright stage. And I give you all the applause. I would like to thank you for your constant support for my fans, my fans, my fans, my fans, my fans, my fans, my monsters inside me.”

“I wish I could stay and see all these great performances, but I have to go back to Madison Square Garden,” Gaga concluded her speech.
Despite being double booked in the evening, Lady Gaga still managed to give her a sense of her presence at the VMA by presenting her performances featuring “Abracadabra” and “The Dead Dance.” The VMA marked the first time they performed “The Dead Dance” from the soundtrack for Season 2 on Wednesday. Gaga appeared as Rosalyn Lottwood in the second season of the show, and the song came out on Wednesday, September 3rd.
Director Tim Burton’s music video features Gaga as a cracked porcelain doll surrounded by other creepy puppets in the cemetery.
Gaga didn’t question where her “NYC Monster” was on MSG, and shared a post on Instagram Stories on Sunday evening, sharing that she was on stage at 9.30 and a little later than scheduled.
