Lady Gaga finally made her debut on Wednesday’s season 2, but fans aren’t happy.
Watching the 39 Grammy Award winners take on the role of Rosalyn Lottwood on the Netflix hit, viewers expressed disappointment at the lack of screen time. Her performance itself received praise, but two short scenes, which totaled under two minutes in two episodes, waited for more.
“Lady Gaga’s role on Wednesday? OK, thank you nothing,” the user wrote to X.
Another addition: “I love Gaga but she’s been badly underused on Wednesday. I’m disappointed, but I’m only episode 7 – I’ll see what happens in the finale.”

Some noted that cameos are expected to “become quicker,” but many remained unhappy.
“Can you believe she promoted Lady Gaga’s role on Wednesday just to have two minutes of screen time with that horrifying CGI scene?”
However, other fans had no problem with Gaga’s brief appearance.
“Lady Gaga ate her role on Wednesday,” someone wrote, as others declared.
Gaga’s character was featured in the second batch of the show’s latest release, which was dropped on September 3rd.
In episode 6, Wednesday (Jenna Ortega) goes to visit the grave of pop icon Rosalyn, the deceased Nevermore professor known for her second sight, after losing her strength in part 1. While her grandmother (Joanna Lumley) was encouraging it, she warned on Wednesday to “go on with caution.”
As Wednesday makes her way towards the grave, she incites a Latin inscription: “Be warned, if my gaze breaks, it’s a fatal trick I’ll play.”

At that time, Gaga offers to help Wednesday despite predicting troubles in the process.
“The cracks in your monochrome uniform are your overwhelming arrogance,” says Rosalyn.
Unfortunately, the late Enid Sinclair (Emma Myers) confused the spell with her presence, and Wednesday exchanges her body in a freaky Friday moment. As a result, Enid learns how to reverse it from Rosalin in his body on Wednesday.
Gaga fans were able to hear her new song, “The Dead Dance,” for the first time in episode 7, in a dance sequence featuring Enid and Agnes (Evie Templeton).

Earlier this year, the musician opened on Tudum.com about how the song won the role on Wednesday.
“I had a song called ‘The Dead Dance’ in mind and started working on it,” she explained. “But after learning it was going to be Wednesday, I decided to work on it more and make it special for the show. For me, when I know that music and pop culture and Tim Burton is coming with this cast, it’s a very special recipe.”
“That’s why I’m here,” Gaga continued. “After that happened, they asked if I wanted to be in the show and I said ‘Absolutely’. ”
