Lady Gaga “can’t imagine feeling this sick” after canceling a concert in Canada due to a severe respiratory infection.
The “Abracadabra” singer announced on his Instagram Stories on Monday that he would not be able to perform his third and final show that night at the Bell Center in Montreal, Quebec.
Gaga, 40, said: “I am disappointed that I will not be able to perform tonight and that I will have to cancel my show.” “For the past few days, I have been fighting off a respiratory infection and doing everything I can to rest and recover, but my symptoms have gotten worse.”
She continued, “The doctors have strongly advised me not to perform today. To be honest, I don’t think I can give you the performance you deserve today.”
The “Poker Face” hitmaker went on to admit that “this is really disappointing” for her fans, adding that she “couldn’t feel any better” for letting them down.
“I’m so sorry to everyone who made plans to come out and support me,” Gaga wrote. “Being in Montreal and performing in front of you on Thursday and Friday was magical and very meaningful.”
She concluded, “To everyone who came tonight, my heart is truly broken and I am truly sorry.”
Gaga’s representatives did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
The 16-time Grammy winner performed her first two shows at the Montreal venue late last week as part of her Mayhem Ball Tour.
There are currently three shows remaining on her tour, including two in St. Paul, Minn., on Thursday and Friday, and another at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Monday.
Gaga, who is nearing marriage to fiancé Michael Polanski, announced her first Mayhem Ball tour in March 2025, following the release of her seventh studio album, Mayhem.
“This is my first arena tour since 2018,” the “Just Dance” singer said at the time. “There’s something emotional about the stadium and I love every moment of that show.”
She continued, “But with The Mayhem Ball, I wanted to create a different kind of experience, one that was more intimate, closer, and more connected, that suited the live theatrical art that I love to create.”
But Gaga’s cancellation of her Montreal show on Monday night isn’t the first time she’s had to cancel a Mayhem Ball performance at the last minute. Because she also canceled her concert in Miami in September 2025.
“It is with great regret that I have to postpone tonight’s show in Miami,” Gaga wrote on Instagram at the time.
She added, “During last night’s rehearsal and tonight’s vocal warm-up, my voice was extremely strained and both my doctor and vocal coach advised me not to proceed due to the risks involved.”
The canceled Miami show was ultimately rescheduled to March 13, 2026.
