Applause from Jenna Ortega and Lady Gaga.
The duo, who will appear together in Part 2 of “Wednesday,” hit the red carpet of “Graveyard Gala” on Spotify and Netflix on Thursday night in New York City, adjusting the witch’s goth look.
Ortega, the show’s nominal character, features Zac Posen’s charcoal-stricken T-shirt dress with cutouts that stretch all the way to her waist.
Front, a black lace bra peered subtly through the neckline of her cotton jersey creation lover.
The “You” alumni gown styled by Enrique Melendez, inspired by the aesthetics of the once popular Y2K DIY T-shirt, using a wash basin treatment “to create a play with bright colors and dark tones,” according to a press release.
“Jenna Ortega embodies the perfect blend of edge and refinement, mystery and theatricality that makes her such a compelling artist,” Posen, executive vice president and creative director at Gap Inc., said in a statement.
He continued. “The look we created has pushed the boundaries of what a gap cotton jersey t-shirt would look like.
Ortega’s bleached eyebrows, dark, smoky eyes and partially braided hairstyle were a step forward with an edgy vibe, just like her huge black platform boots.
Lady Gaga portrays Rosalyn Lottwood, Nevermore Academy, a teacher at the school on Wednesday, but arrived in an overly black outfit by emerging designers and Central St. Martins alumnus Anton Famier.
Her quirky look included ruffled sleeves and large wave pants, and the bodice was split by a jeweled corset.
She concluded it with an oversized Jester-esque umbrella hat designed by Matthew David Andrews and made by Milliner Jenny Beatty.
Wednesday’s season 2, part 2 will hit Netflix on September 3rd.
