Kylie Jenner will wear anything under the name of lip kit.
The beauty mogul celebrates 10 years of Kylie Cosmetics with a wearable ode to the company that started it all.
Designer Laurel DeWitt took to Instagram on Sunday to share a photo of Jenner wearing a look perfectly replicating her best-selling products, styled by Alexandra Rose and Mackenzie Granquist.
The design is reminiscent of similar beauty product homage looks, also designed by DeWitt. In the original concept, Jenner wears a top made of colorful lip kits. The first image was originally shot for the cover of CR Fashion Book Issue 21 in 2022.
She captioned the image: “How it started…” and “How it’s progressing.”
Jenner’s latest look features a bandeau top made of pencil and a skirt made of shiny tubes held together by chain mail. Her brown hair flows down to her shoulders, with a hint of green showing at one of its ends.
DeWitt designed both cosmetic-centric looks, but has actually collaborated with Jenner multiple times.
Just last May, DeWitt created an oversized pink ribbon for a Kylie Cosmetics promotional shoot, and a few years earlier she also created an embellished pink cowboy hat for the brand.
DeWitt is also the creator of Jenner’s Elvira Halloween costume several years ago.
The 28-year-old Calabasas native was just spotted wearing a pink latex dress that matched her newly styled pink hair at a gala on Saturday night, which was reminiscent of her King Kylie days and the limited edition collection of the same name.
