Kylie Jenner is mourning the death of her beloved greyhound, Norman.
“In loving memory of my dear Norman. I still remember the day I brought you home,” she wrote on Instagram on Wednesday, sharing photos of her beloved pet, other dogs, and playing with her children Stormi, 7, and Aire, 3, on a merry-go-round.
“I’ve never loved anything so much,” she continued. “I’ve always wanted to own an Italian Greyhound, but my mother would never let me have one.”
The mother-of-two recalled receiving Norman as a Christmas present when she was 17 and how he was her “best gift”.
“Normie, you have filled my life and so many others with pure joy. You are almost 13 years old and I know I will remember you for much longer than the time we shared.
Jenner, 28, said she knew Norman was “old” and had tried to “prepare” for his death, but admitted that didn’t make his death any less painful.
“It makes me so happy to know that my children were able to meet and love you 😢 Sweet Normy. My heart aches for you. Rest in peace, my precious Normandre. I love you forever,” she concluded.
The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star was flooded with support from fans in the comments section, and her sister Kourtney Kardashian joined in.
“Why am I sobbing?” she commented. “I love you Tink, I’m so sad🥺”
Since welcoming Norman into the family in 2014, Jenner has been constantly posting about him on social media. She shared his adorable 1st birthday party on Instagram in 2015 and even made him and his other Italian greyhound, Bambi, their own Instagram page.
The founder of Kylie Cosmetics is a longtime dog lover and has had her fair share of furry friends over the years.
In 2022, she revealed that she had seven “feral” dogs who playfully bit her sister Kendall’s “butt.”
She and ex-boyfriend Tyga were gifted an English bulldog named Rory in 2015 for $50,000, adding to her fur baby family.
