Kyle Richards has slammed Ashley Darby’s “bizarre” attempts to cheat on her with her estranged husband, Mauricio Umanski, despite not seeing the encounter.
“We actually talked about this the other day,” the “RHOBH” icon said in response to a fan’s question during Wednesday’s Amazon Live.
“I didn’t see that scene, so I don’t know how it was portrayed,” she continued, according to the Amazon Live recording.
“I saw something on Watch What Happens Live,” Richards, 57, said of the exchange, which occurred while Umanski was appearing on “The Real Housewives of Potomac.”
“I mean, if she was flirting, that would be weird,” Richards said.
“I would never … date anyone that the women on Housewives dated or married,” Richards continued. “That’s just weird.”
She added: “I don’t get it. I’m like, ‘You’re embarrassing yourself by doing that in front of the camera.'” By the way, he just bumped into them. ”
The reality TV star revealed that his RHOBH co-star Gisele Bryant “sent her an email right away because she felt uncomfortable” after seeing Umansky.
“She was like, ‘By the way, I met Mauricio,'” Richards continued. “I don’t care. Everyone should do what they like. I just thought it was embarrassing.”
The Bravo star reiterated that he “actually shouldn’t comment” because he “didn’t actually see” the interaction.
Representatives for Umansky and Darby did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.
Umansky and Richards separated in July 2023 after 27 years of marriage. The former couple, who share daughters Alexia, 29, Sofia, 25, and Portia, 18, denied speculation of “cheating” in a joint statement at the time.
The couple admitted they had had a “tough year” but wrote that they “love and respect each other so much.”
“There was no wrongdoing on anyone’s part,” they continued, referring to dating rumors involving Richards’ best friend Morgan Wade at the time.
“While we are in public, we ask that you allow us to resolve the matter privately,” the statement continued. “It may be fun to speculate, but don’t create false narratives to fit an even more sordid narrative.”
The former couple spent Thanksgiving with their families and then were spotted “visibly together” at a star-studded New Year’s Eve party in Aspen, Colorado, sparking rumors that they are back together.
“They really enjoyed each other’s company,” a source told Page Six. “They had their arms around each other and were very touching and warm to each other all night.”
But a source later told Us Weekly that the ex-couple “has no intention of getting back together or rekindling their romance.”
The source added: “They are really friends now and still have a lot of fun together.”
