Kyle Cook subtly showed support for Ciara Miller the day before his estranged wife Amanda Batula and Miller’s ex-boyfriend West Wilson confirmed their secret romance.
Cook shared two photos on Instagram with Mirror on Monday from a nursing home-themed birthday party that aired during last week’s episode of “Summer House.”
In both photos, the reality stars wore prosthetic limbs and added gray hair to make them look older.
“Instagram vs reality,” the LoverBoy creator captioned his post.
At the time Cook, 43, shared the photo, there were rumors that Batula, 34, and Wilson, 30, were secretly having an affair behind Miller’s back.
Cook and Batula were married for four years before announcing their split in January, and Miller and Wilson started dating in 2023.
On Tuesday, Batula and Wilson acknowledged speculation about their relationship, insisting that it was “never[their]intention” to hide their romance.
“Given the complex relationship dynamics and scrutiny that comes with appearing on a reality show, we needed some space to process things privately before speaking on the show,” the pair said in a joint statement shared on their Instagram Stories.
Batula and Wilson explained that their dynamic developed was something they “didn’t expect” after “showing up to each other as friends over the years.”
The Bravo stars also said they took some time to go public with their relationship because they “want to approach this carefully.”
“As our emotions change, we wanted to take time to understand exactly what we were feeling,” they added. “We also recognize that this has an impact beyond just us, and we never wanted our actions to cause any hurt or be perceived as careless.”
Speculation about Batula and Wilson began in March, when Dumois reported that the two were spotted “openly flirting and allegedly holding hands under the table” at an event in New York.
Later that month, Wilson couldn’t completely deny the speculation when he appeared on “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.”
“She’s currently single and the same thing happened with other guys she was hanging out with,” he said of the rumors.
“We’re just hanging out in New York. She’s single. I have to show her around the city, okay?”
Wilson also said Batula was “a very important person to me” and “I care very much about him.”
