Kristin Cavallari only despises married men who have a habit of secretly liking her Instagram Stories posts, but refraining from following her.
The Uncommon James designer told listeners on Tuesday’s episode of her podcast Let’s Be Honest that she finds it “rude” that “scumbag” married men seem to keep their “likes” off the radar while always trying to get her attention.
“This is what I tell you from my own personal experience,” the reality star began.
“Ladies, what we really need to watch out for are married men who like all their Instagram stories but not their feed posts,” she shared. “I have guys like that all the time, all the time. And they’re trash.”
Cavallari said “many of them are athletes” and “don’t follow (her).”
“But they are verified, and I see a lot of their activity being verified,” she added, hinting that they are public figures. “These people are married.”
One person in particular “has his wife in his profile picture,” she said.
The Laguna Beach alum, 39, who is known for sharing revealing bikini snaps on her social media accounts, revealed that one particular Instagram user “likes every story I post, but doesn’t follow me and doesn’t like my feed posts.”
“I wish I could call these people or DM my wife and be like, ‘This is what your husband is doing. Look at all these likes.’ You are trash! ”
The mother of three said she considered the indiscretion “a bit of a red flag,” but said she was aware of the prevalence of “hot women” on social media.
“We can’t have men living under a rock,” she said, noting that men would be “flooded” with such content “on a daily basis.”
“That’s just the world we live in,” she explained. “And when you try to control a man by saying, ‘I can’t keep up with her,’ he’s going to want to do it 10 times more than he wanted to.”
She encouraged listeners to “get men to follow hot girls” and “get that out of their systems.”
Cavallari was famously married to NFL alum Jay Cutler, 52, from 2013 to 2022, and the two have three children together. After separating in 2020, Cavallari dated TikTok star Mark Estes, 26, for seven months in 2024.
In November 2024, the TV personality revealed how she is thinking about dating now. “I feel like I have a kind of guy mentality, and that’s why I’ve always kind of understood this game,” she said on an episode of “Let’s Be Honest” at the time.
“I think for a long time I was very afraid of having my heart broken, and then I started having my heart broken,” she said. “I think it’s just a combination of things. I also just have a masculine energy when it comes to this.”
