Dax Shepard and Kristen Bell are fully embracing the Halloween spirit!
The podcaster, 50, and the Nobody Wanted actress, 45, shared a photo of their family of four dressed up as swanky mash-up characters for the holidays.
According to Bell’s Instagram caption, she was dressed as “Carrie Bradshaw Shank Redemption” with a Sex and the City-approved skirt and classic Sarah Jessica Parker curly hair style with a prison uniform on top, while Shepard was dressed as “Ferrariana Grande” with a Ferrari race car driver outfit and a long brunette ponytail.
Although she did not reveal the titles of the children’s outfits, the couple’s two daughters, Delta, 10, and Lincoln, 12, revealed their looks in the photo. One was seen wearing an all-denim outfit and an In-N-Out Burger employee hat, while the other was seen wearing a floral dress and a pirate-style hat.
“Husband, there’s no one better than this,” Shepherd wrote under his wife’s post.
In a post on her Instagram, Shepherd detailed how she organized a Halloween hayride for her neighborhood.
He shared how he built a trailer with hay bale seats and string lights, hooked it up to his car, and pulled his kids and other friends around the neighborhood to see all the Halloween costumes.

Shepard captioned the post: “Ferrari Ana Grande had the best time of her life on one of the most wonderful nights of the year, playing around with her neighbors.” “Thank you brother for capturing my favorite 3 hours of 2025. 🎃🎃🎃🎃”
Last year, the family of four enlisted the help of actress Anna Kendrick to complete their family Halloween costumes.
The couple, who married in 2013, used the holiday to dress up themselves and their daughters, along with Kendrick, 40, as characters from the 2004 hit film Anchorman. Bell shared a photo of the group’s outfits on Instagram, writing: “Thank you to the Channel 4 News team! 🎃👻💀 and to everyone’s favorite neighborhood gearheads for the most epic hayride!!! (@daxshepard).”
In the photo, Bell was dressed as news anchor Ron Burgundy (played by Will Ferrell), while her husband wore a costume similar to David Koechner’s character, Champ Kind.
Kendrick was dressed like Christina Applegate’s character Veronica Corningstone. Lincoln and Delta were played by Brian Fantana (Paul Rudd) and Brick Tamland (Steve Carell).

In a recent conversation with PEOPLE, Bell opened up about the “peaceful” summer she spent at the lake with her husband and two daughters.
“We used to go to Tennessee for the summer and stay at a lake,” she began, then joked, “And my kids are lake mice. They were at the lake every morning, diving, getting too close to turtles and collecting frogs.”

Bell also said the change of pace from their home base in Los Angeles to living on a lake in the Nashville area felt “very peaceful” for their family.
“I think it’s really healthy for me and my family to pop the bubble frequently from the city of Los Angeles that we love and get out and just see other parts of the world,” she tells PEOPLE.
She added that the family often forgot to take pictures during their fun vacation because they had so much fun together at the lake. “I think the best way to tell if you’re happy with a trip is to not take pictures, because I was just there.”
