Kris Jenner is remembering her late sister Karen Houghton on what would have been her 67th birthday.
“Happy birthday to my beautiful sister Karen,” the 70-year-old businesswoman wrote of her brother in a tribute on Instagram on Monday, November 24.

“I think about you every day… I miss you, I love you, and I know you’re watching over us all,” the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star continued.
Chris’s posts were filled with old photos of him and Karen, as well as photos of their loved ones. Their mother, Mary Jo Shannon (affectionately known as “MJ”), appears in several photos, as do Jenner’s children, Kourtney Kardashian, Rob Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian and Kim Kardashian.
The late Rob Kardashian Sr. was also pictured with Kris’ sister in the post, which was shared to Mamajer’s Instagram Story.
Karen passed away “unexpectedly” on March 18, 2024 at the age of 65, and Jenner announced the news online.
“It is with a very heavy heart and deep sadness that I share the sudden passing of my sister Karen yesterday,” she wrote in a lengthy statement accompanied by a photo of Karen.
She added that she was “heartbroken” for her mother MJ and Horton’s daughter Natalie.
“Karen was beautiful inside and out. She was the sweetest, sweetest, most sensitive, vulnerable, and very funny person,” Jenner said of her sister, later adding, “She’s a huge part of my heart and I cherish all the memories we had together.”

According to a death certificate obtained by TMZ at the time, Karen died of cardiac arrest and sudden arrhythmia. The document also lists type 2 diabetes as a secondary underlying cause.
She and Chris grew up together in San Diego, California, but unlike her famous family, Karen lived her life out of the public eye.

Following Kim’s death, she also shared a post paying tribute to her late aunt. Her merry-go-round was decorated with many photos of the SKIMS mogul, 45, taken with her from when she was a baby to when she was a teenager.
“Aunt Karen, I love you so much,” she captioned the upload, adding two white dove emojis.
